THE
FEATHER
We have re-created Dewey’s original Feather of the late 1960’s
using his original template. This pintail was designed as a progressive
speed shape which combined speed and quickness with the trim and glide of
a traditional noserider. If you prefer single fins, the Feather is the ideal
board for beach breaks. Giving it a bit of hip and loosening it up, the
wide point is behind the center of the board. A great alternative for surfer’s
who wish to ride a single fin but need something with a bit more speed.

THE
LEGEND
(Special Edition)
We introduced “Special Edition” surfboard in January 1999 to
celebrate Dewey’s extraordinary contribution to modern surfboard design.
Dewey, working with Harold Walker, discovered that by using a 2” balsa
as the center stringer in a foam blank, you could alter the weight distribution
of the foam just enough to cause the foam surfboard to react in a turn more
like a balsa board. Plain and simple; it’s more stable, trims tighter,
and turns better. The Legend celebrates Dewey’s initial Performer
outline, which was conceived in 1965. |

THE
PERFORMER
The Performer is the most popular longboard of all time. We’ve used
Dewey’s wide template to make an exact replica of the 1967 design.
Dewey designed this board to meet the needs of every surfer in all surf
conditions. It’s easy to paddle and catch waves on and it turns on
a dime. It’s the world’s best noserider and with the refined
rail line and bottom rocker, it will enhance your riding experience.

THE
PERFORMER 68
(Special Edition) This
Special Edition Performer features the wide and flat 1968 template and has
all of the “bells and whistles.” This beauty is equipped with
multiple wood stringers, a color tint deck inlay with “figure 8”
resin pin lines, a full fabric bottom inlay, volan fiberglass top and bottom,
and a glass-on Hatchet fin. Hang it on the wall or have the coolest board
on the beach. . . . .You Choose!

THE
PROFESSIONAL
(Special Edition)
Originally released in 1968, this was the most progressive longboard of
the 60’s era. It is a soft “step deck,” which differed
from the more radical step decks being produced at the time. The flex in
this deck enhances the noseriding capabilities by subtly moving the center
of gravity aft without creating drag or detracting from the turning potential.
It exemplifies the first use of tail lift and a reverse rail line in surfboard
design.

THE
STYLIST
The cousin of the Performer, this classic rounded pintail maintains the
traditional Weber characteristics that make it highly maneuverable. A traditional
“double-ender” of the 1960’s era, this design is perfect
for lined up point surf. Long carving bottom turns and blazing cutbacks
are possible with stability and quickness.

Weber
Quantum
We introduced the “Tri-Fin” longboard in 1979 with three 12”
fin boxes. We have taken that original design, tweaked and refined it, and
the finished product is the perfect combination of progressive and traditional.
With added rail edge in this pintail, you have more bite and a shorter turning
radius. The traditional outline of the Quantum lends itself to noseriding,
and it handles well in both small and large waves. |

Weber
Strato
Take a radical approach to your progressive longboarding. Dewey created
the Strato Series in the late 60’s to encompass the ever changing
environment of progressive surfboard design. The “Strato” is
not one surfboard design, but several high performance designs geared toward
the progressive longboarder. We understand that different regions require
slightly different equipment, which is why we offer the Strato HI (Hawaii),
Strato CA (California), and Strato EC (East Coast). Although these boards
share similarities, there are subtle differences that help these boards
work better in their specific territories. These models are built for speed.
The 3 fin set-up allows the rider to tune the board to most wave conditions.

Strato
Kona Kai
This high performance longboard comes with an optional single or double
wing swallow tail and is offered with a Quad or a 2 + 1 fin set up. Take
a step into the future of longboarding. With the feel of a shortboard off
the tail, and the ability to still noseride, this board offers a nice alternative
to your progressive longboarding. The Strato Kona Kai is great for moderate
to juicy surf, or that faster beach break.

Feather
Fastback
A transition shape, designed by Dewey and Nat Young in the early 70’s,
the Feather Fastback is a single fin pintail built for speed in the pocket
and large carving cutbacks. This shape offers the versatility and maneuverability
of a shortboard with the trim, glide, and paddling speed of a longboard.
A great board for long hollow point breaks and reef passes. Available from
6’6” - 7’10”. |

The
Ski
A throwback to a different time, this mid-length board has its own look
and feel. S.K.I. stands for Synthetic Kinetic Instinct. At the time, this
board combined several different deign principles that Dewey and his team
were experimenting with. This board was strongly influenced by Dewey, and
former Weber Team rider’s Nat Young, Mike Tabeling, and Harold Iggy.
This was the board Nat was riding in the cult surf video “Morning
of the Earth.” We were inspired to re-introduce the Ski to our line
of retro shortboards because in the last 5 years, this has been the most
requested model that we didn’t offer. Like many of our transition
shapes, this board was the future of surfing. It is very maneuverable from
the tail, yet cruises from the middle, and even noserides under the right
conditions. Available from 6’8” - 7’10”. |

The
Flying Pig
A similar full body like the Retro Pig, this more modernized version has
a bit more progressive design. This thruster is reminiscent of the Weber
high performance shortboards of the70’s and 80’s. Keep in mind,
we were the first traditional surfboard company to go short in 1968. We
know short as well as long. . . It’s all about our quality and performance
criteria. We enhance the ride in any size surfboard.

Retro
Pig
This board is pure unadulterated fun. That is what “pig” has
always meant in the Weber tradition of performance surfboards. It’s
the one thing that all of the pigs we’ve ever built over the years
have in common. Anyone can ride this single fin shortboard and have a great
time. The Pig is a short fun-shape running 5’8” to 6’8”. |

Easy
Rider
Dewey designed this single fin as the perfect retro shortboard. In fact,
almost every original Easy Rider made in the 70’s was shaped by Dewey.
With its width, this board will give you great flotation in a shorter board
and would be perfect at a racy beach break. Made primarily as a sand finish,
this board is light and playful. Size range: 5’8” - 6’8”.

Swish
Did you say twin-fin? The Weber swallow tail series of the 1970’s
produced three models; the Fish, the Swish, and the Swallow Tail. The Fish
was short and wide. The Swallow Tail was slim and sleek. The Swish is the
perfect combination of the two. Most importantly, the soft, curved innermost
part of the vee bottom for control, staying power, and thrust. A split tail
board that will increase your performance in any type of surf. Available
from 5’0” - 7”0”. |
